Born in 2014 out of the ashes of Burn Everything, Rochester, NY’s CHRMR (members of Sulaco & Contrarian) took form as a challenge to do something different and out of their comfort zones. Rather than the grind/hardcore death metal leanings of their other bands, CHRMR set out to combine sludgy post-metal and noise rock in a way that's equal parts angst-driven and beautifully emotive.
